  • On-Desktop EditingPress ⌘E from anywhere to enter edit mode and move, resize, change backgrounds, adjust colors, and configure complications, all live on your wallpaper. The ⌘E shortcut requires the Cadran menu bar app to be running, or the main Cadran app to be open.
  • Display DimmingWhen you enter edit mode, the display you're working on stays bright while every other connected display dims, so the active target is always unmistakable, even on multi-monitor setups.
  • Now Playing ComplicationA new complication that shows the currently playing song right on your clock face.
  • Quick ResetReset buttons in every editor tab let you start fresh instantly.
  • ⌘O Quick LaunchPress ⌘O from anywhere to bring Cadran to the front. Like ⌘E for edit mode, this global shortcut requires the menu bar app to be running, or the main Cadran app to be open.
  • Polish & ImprovementsGallery, menu bar, and editor improvements across the board.
  • Apple Silicon Sonoma FixResolved a critical launch issue that prevented Cadran from starting on Apple Silicon Macs running macOS Sonoma 14.8.2. Shipped in the 1.2.6 patch release.
  • Native Apple WeatherWeather faces now use Apple's native WeatherKit framework for live conditions, refreshing every 30 minutes. Temperatures match the Apple Weather app exactly, and the integration runs without any third-party API key.
